With the expertise to manage all levels of asbestos projects on your behalf, including removal and disposal, we will assist in ensuring you conform to asbestos regulations and requirements.
Our in-house UKAS accredited asbestos testing laboratory enables us to offer a cost-effective asbestos testing and bulk analysis service with a fast turnaround of samples. Whether you require asbestos bulk sampling on a regular basis or a one-off sample analysis service, we will be happy to assist. Following the asbestos testing and analysis, a certificate is issued which clearly shows whether or not asbestos is present and where applicable, which types of asbestos are present. Particularly in the case of domestic clients, an asbestos survey can be more than is required so if you are simply looking to find out if one particular product within your property contains asbestos then our asbestos testing and sampling service may be more appropriate.
The type of survey you require will vary during the lifespan of your premises and several may be needed over time. Management asbestos surveys are required during the normal occupation and use of the building to ensure continued management of the Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) in situ. However, a refurbishment or demolition survey will be necessary when the building (or part of it) is to be upgraded, refurbished or demolished. A refurbishment or demolition survey is needed before any refurbishment or demolition is carried out.
We are frequently asked questions about asbestos, most commonly those listed below. Just click on the questions below for further information. Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral fibre that takes millions of year to form. It was widely used in the UK construction industry between the 1950s and 1990s. It was routinely added to products such as cement, thermo plastics, insulation products and insulating board, so most houses and commercial properties built during this period are highly likely to contain some asbestos within the structure.
