St Chad's is an Anglican (Church of England) church covering the south-west outskirts of Sunderland, Tyne & Wear. Built of brick on the main Durham Road, East Herrington, and originating from 1961, it was in urgent need of heating refurbishment, because the existing heating system was broken. Once on site, we worked with the Church team to design a system to suit the church which would keep them warm and provided for long into the future. We installed new boilers in the plant room with a comprehensive set of controls to give them total, flexible control over the heating of the building.
