After starting out as a plumbing and heating business we now operate in various sectors, employing over 40 people people and providing a range of trades services to both commercial and domestic customers.

From humble beginnings in Aberdeen and one van supplying plumbing and heating services, the company now operates throughout the North-East of Scotland providing a range of trades services to domestic and commercial clients both on and off-shore. Throughout our history we've been dedicated to providing excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of professional accreditations. Over the years the company has grown organically and through acquisition with the buyout of John Hay bolstering and consolidating the company's position in the region.

We are accredited installers and suppliers of Ideal, Worcester and Vokera boilers, brands that are recognised as some of the safest and most effcient in the U.K. All our boilers come with a range of warranties and are all professionally installed by Gas Safe registered engineers specialising in every boiler type; combi, system and heat. R&D Services is also an agent of Ariston boilers in the North-East of Scotland and are a recognised repair and servicing partner. We supply boilers for all home types and sizes so whether its a top floor flat or a detached bungalow we've got a solution to fit your needs.

Our commercial division has a strong track record of providing and delivering commercial projects of all sizes and requirements. From small scale maintenance to full office refurbishment construction work, R&D Services has the in-house expertise and mangerial experience to deliver quality results on time and on budget. When Waterloo Quay Properties - one of Aberdeen's premier office sites - required a partner to undertake a lighting and electrical project to streamline cost and increase efficiency at its fitness centre, they enlisted the help of R&D Services to put forward an effective solution.

We specialise in everything from bespoke doors, staircases, bathrooms and kitchens to unique one-off office refurbishments. We also provide one-off repairs and can handle all emergency calls related to maintenance. Our joinery team are highly skilled and qualified and aim to provide superior and quality craftsmanship along with creative ideas and advice. We offer individual care and attention to each and every joinery project, giving clients a personal service. Our joinery service is for both commercial and domestic customers throughout Aberdeen city and shire.

We are a Gas Safe registered company and all of our engineers are multi-skilled and fully qualified. We are experienced in the repair and maintenance of all types of gas heating and hot water systems. In addition we are also the only accredited service agents in the North-East of Scotland for Ariston and can also provide bespoke preventative maintenance contracts, ad-hoc repairs and emergency response care as per our 24/7 365 days a year call out service guarantee.
