DASA is an industry leader in the provision of drainage, mains water, off mains and leak detection solutions to the insurance industry. As a family business we are immensely proud and passionate about what we do and what we have achieved along the way. We are innovators in our industry, controlling costs, reducing claim lifecycles and providing solutions, with the customer at the heart of everything we do. A move to the countryside quite often comes with a change in how your sewage and water is processed.
As a family business we are immensely proud and passionate about what we do and what we have achieved along the way! In 1982 our managing director Darryl Gartley started the business, undertaking drainage default works for local councils, operating from a small premises in the North West of England. We were one of the first to offer an alternative solution to the traditional loss adjuster model, and continue to make huge improvements in the market, driving down costs and putting the customer at the heart of all we do.
We are extremely proud of our internal works solution which we have developed over recent years. This 'one stop shop' facilitates the works required during an underground services claim, or following an escape of water claim. This innovative solution reduces inconvenience and time spent on site, whilst reducing costs and all the while exceeding customers' expectations. Britain is a nation of DIY-ers, home improvement buffs and property improvers. Over recent years, DASA has seen a large increase in the number of cases where a remodel or other property alteration has seen drainage or mains water apparatus concealed.
Drainage is where it all began. Over time we have invested heavily to remain at the forefront of the industry through; training, personnel, methodology and equipment. DASA is a specialist in less destructive sustainable solutions, which means that we are able to undertake a great many repairs without resorting to large-scale excavation or trenchwork across customers' property. Where traditional excavation is unavoidable, through our ability and accessibility to cutting-edge machinery, we ensure that the disturbance is limited, and all reinstatement is carried out to the highest standards.
Our investment in evaluation technology and low-impact repair solutions for mains water problems has had a huge impact on alleviating customers concerns around anticipated inconvenience and disruption. We use the very latest methods and technology to accurately pinpoint leaks non-invasively, enabling us to isolate and access leaks rapidly with minimal disturbance to the customer's property, in the most cost-effective and sustainable way possible. There are times, however, when all the technology in the world cannot remove the need for a disruptive excavation.
We are the off mains experts; we have developed innovative and bespoke solutions when dealing with challenging and difficult claims for all our customers. Utilizing our network of experienced engineers, we are able to provide a complete end to end solution. Off mains drainage systems encompass any system other than the sewer network, which takes waste or stormwater away from a property and disperses or stores. These systems are more common in, although by no means limited to, rural locations and can take a great many forms.
The volume and cost of escape of water claims to the insurance industry continues to rise year on year. We have evolved so we are ideally placed to deal with these types of claims that can be extremely distressing and costly to the customer. We have multiskilled engineers who are able to remove and reinstall all the plumbing and electrical infrastructure necessary to find and fix the problem. Escape of water claims can prove very complex to resolve, particularly where property modernisation or extension of the property has taken place.
