Underfloor heating (UFH) can be laid in several ways. To convert an existing radiator system to underfloor heating, this can be achieved by laying 20mm overlay boards directly onto the existing floorboards as per the photograph shown below. Flooring can then be laid directly on top, carpets can also be laid after a duo board totalling 6mm is put down directly. Perfect for renovations avoiding the very expensive concrete system. Each room has its own control producing an even and comfortable heat without walls being taken up with radiators.
All boiler installations and servicing is recorded on our systems, this in turn produces all certificates, records the boiler history and alerts when the next boiler service is due. This ensures that all manufacturers warranties are maintained and can be proved easily. Landlords can. easily obtain safety certificates if required.
As most present radiator systems are designed to work at 70 degrees it may be necessary to increase the size of radiators presently fitted. Underfloor heating is an excellent option for an ASHP due to the lower heating temperatures required. Space for a Cylinder and Buffer tank and associated pipework is required internally which would ideally be situated in close proximity to where the ASHP will be located externally. We work Closely with Vaillant who produce the specification based on a site survey and we then install to specification with Vaillant carrying out an inspection to ensure the specification has been fully completed.
Once again fantastic service from Gordon at GR Heating. Sourced an obsolete part for my shop boiler to hopefully keep it going. We have used GR Heating for many years. Highly recommended.
Superfast 5*service from Gordon who replaced our old boilermate. Work carried out in a day, no mess at all. Friendly professional service and a very good price. Thank you.
Gave Gordon a call as I had an issue with my boiler. He got back to me PDQ and even diagnosed the problem on the phone and told me how to fix it. Total Gent !!
