Very often when simple drain blockages and drainage problems occur, after clearing and relieving the suspect drain we are asked to perform CCTV (close circuit television) surveying on a section of pipe or part of the drain system. When called out to a blocked drain our engineer will assess the problem and decide upon the most effective method of clearance. He will discuss the problem with you and advise you on how he intends to clear it. For small bore internal pipe work, toilet pans, kitchen wastes etc we use a number of different tools including plungers, mechanical augers, kinetic rams and mini high pressure jetting. For external wastes we employ a variety of equipment including drain rods, high pressure water jetting, hydraulic root cutters, gully grabs etc.
