More recently, Gregory has taken on staff to allow the company to deal with all aspects relating to client needs. At Cottage Upholstery, we work with the best materials that we can buy with regard to traditional upholstery, and every care is taken to upholster a piece in the way the maker would have wished it to look at the time it was crafted. This involves significant research on the furniture, plus much careful planning even before we begin the actual work. At Cottage Upholstery we specialise in 18th and 19th century upholstered furniture, and Empire style furniture from Europe, although we are happy to work with any pieces, and have worked for the National Trust and many famous interior designers.
