Woodchester Cabinet Makers create the finest, hand-crafted, bespoke kitchens, interiors and free-standing furniture, all hand-built from our workshop, nestled in the very heart of the Cotswolds. We work in Woodchester - but we work everywhere else as well. We travel far and wide, literally from one side of England to the other - from Kent to Cornwall and diverting en route to anywhere between. Just lately we've made kitchens in Oxfordshire, London, Sussex, Kent and the Home Counties too. In fact one of our clients has three homes which all needed new kitchens - one in Westminster, one in Stroud and one in Penzance.

We take the time to understand who you are and what you want; then create cabinetry that reflects your individuality. The first meeting is your opportunity to share your dream. Tim will visit you at home and then interpret your ideas into a beautiful and unique design. His hand-drawn, to-scale elevations will allow you to see what your new cabinetry will look like, giving you the opportunity to discuss and finalise any details. As your project begins to take shape in our workshop a schedule will be provided to ensure you know exactly what to expect, and when.

When the Dares realized they could have a much bigger living space by extending into the garden they went ahead with building a huge kitchen-sitting-dining area. Then they asked Woodchester Cabinet Makers to design and make their new kitchen. Surrounded by the countryside round Evesham they wanted to use as many natural materials as possible such as oak and stone and natural colours too. What really impressed them though was the way Tim Buckingham of Woodchester Cabinet Makers utilized all sorts of odd spaces for the extra storage - now Lynn says, "Every time we walk into our new extension we smile."

The Bryans from America loved their period-style new build house in Cheltenham and they particularly liked the brand-new handcrafted kitchen that we at WCM had already installed, focus of which as the split-level island. In fact so impressed were they that they went ahead and asked us to make some oak cabinets for their study - we were delighted to oblige.

Specializing in natural stone for kitchens and other heavy duty areas they have stone that you won't find anywhere else. Pull the plug on that old-fashioned cabinet above the basin! It never held more than about a quarter of the items the modern family needs for today's ablutions. When you think of the towels, robes, toiletries and cleaning products you need to keep in here for convenience's sake then it's obvious the more storage the better. And we can design and make any size cupboard or vanity unit to fit, however awkward the space, with as many shelves and drawers as you want in any colour and with any type of worktop.

It's a pity to hide away some of your prettier kitchen items. Of course you can always put them in a unit with a glazed door and interior lighting to reveal them. But there's an even simpler way - choose to have open shelving. It's cheaper too and is one of the best ways to add character to your kitchen. All those vintage china cups and saucers or those earth-toned casserole pots and soup bowls can look amazing when lining the walls above the worktops or filling in an empty alcove or decorating the plain front of a chimney breast.

There's no beating oak units when you want a traditional feeling in the kitchen. The Halfpennys built on a brand-new extension and then to give it a feeling of age chose these solid and sturdy cabinets from WCM which just ooze durability. Blue Pearl granite worktops add an extra solid touch.

After enlarging the original dark kitchen and building on an extension the Porters now have a new kitchen-breakfast room almost double in size. They asked us to design and make all the new floor and wall units and not only did we do that but made the housing and false chimneybreast for the Aga too. We're a little bit proud of the unusual antiqued worktops as well and the big oak-topped island in the centre.
