Farmhouse Furniture have been established in the Black Isle of Scotland for over 20 years; surrounded by stunning landscapes and high quality woodland producing beautiful hand made solid wooden furniture that will last a lifetime and beyond. Built to any size you require from local timber felled under license or from storm damage. The Scottish Wood Range is built in elm, oak, beech or sycamore and retains the whole character of the tree with knots and waney edges creating truly stunning, unique pieces of furniture.

Our range of rustic garden furniture is built from solid slabs of local Scottish douglas fir. Designed and built in our workshop we use the natural or waney edge of the tree to retain the natural beauty of real wood. Whether its sets of tables and benches or individual items we will build whatever you require for your garden or patio. Each item is individual and unique and will last for years to come. This garden table and benches are 7' long and built from Scottish Douglas Fir. Price of the full set is £1495.

Our tables are built from local Scottish timber which is full of character and very different from something you buy at a major retailer. The tops are built from solid slabs of timber and not from individual random planks, giving a solid, chunky top which is completely original and unique. We have 3 different models all built to any size. Prices quoted give a guide. Built with chunky 5" legs with a 2" thick top and a lower H beam it is an extremely robust table. Just to let you know that the table arrived safely and is fabulous.

Each table is designed as an exclusive and unique one-off build to your requirements in oak, sycamore, beech and elm. The timber is local timber which we mill ourselves and dry in a kiln. Tables can be built any size. We have a 20' Scottish oak tree in stock and can offer tables custom built up to 20' long. This is an 8' x 3' Natural edge table in solid oak with a smoked glass insert finished in a hard wearing 2 pack lacquer with matching benches. It is a unique and original piece of furniture and a joy to sit at where you will find your family and friends will be more relaxed and can enjoy the experience.

We can build fire surrounds to whatever size you require from our locally sourced timber in Douglas Fir. The surround above in the picture is made of Douglas Fir and is suitable for stoves or open fires.

This is a 6' x 3' coffee table in spalted sycamore which is truly stunning and one of the finest pieces to come out of our workshop.
