I've never attempted anything like this before, but Ann explained well the techniques we had to use and was there to offer any help or advice if we needed it. When you see the wonderful pieces of shabby chic furniture in Ann's shop, ShabbyAnd. on Mersea Island near Colchester, you never imagine that you could create one yourself, but under Ann's reassuring guidance, we covered our furniture with Autentico Chalk paint and I produced something that I am proud of. I would highly recommend the workshop as a surprise gift for a relative or friend, or if you want to learn new skills to revamp your loved heirlooms or pieces of furniture!
