Benton furniture is individually designed and traditionally Hand-Built to perfectly suit your home whether it is for a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or other living space. A Benton design has an enduring quality which will ensure your furniture will always feel and look "right" in your home, becoming part of its architecture. We have been designing and installing exclusive interior furniture since 1986. We are proud of our strong reputation for quality design, reliability and customer care. Originally established to make a one-off kitchen for a family member we now make furniture for every room in the home and have completed commissions across the UK including London, Bath, Bristol, Pembrokeshire and Sussex as well as Southern France.
The showroom has several different kitchen layouts (some of which are fully Operational AGA demonstration kitchens*) as well as a bedroom/bathroom display, a fitted home office, Bookcases and a range of freestanding furniture. As part of the production facility building you are able to view the complete manufacturing process, from timber planks to fine bespoke furniture. The Bath AGA Shop has a fully fitted Benton working demonstration Kitchen, with a 4 Oven 30 amp cream AGA and cream AGA DXD Fridge Freezer.
The key to good design of any kitchen, bedroom or bathroom is to make optimum use of the space available and to make that space work for you. Having selected your style of furniture, it is essential to create a practical space, which, while always keeping to the original vision, also gives you maximum flexibility and freedom of movement. In the kitchen, for example, keeping clear access for the working triangle of sink to cooker to fridge is vital, even if your kitchen is the busy working heart of the home - full of children, dogs, friends or neighbours.
Looking after the environment and eliminating waste are an important consideration for any business. Our production facility, based in the UK gives us complete control over the manufacturing process and limits transportation emissions. Along with sourcing timber from responsibly-managed forests, the Company has, with the help of the Carbon Trust, invested in wood waste to energy technology, which has cut energy costs and the need for expensive landfill waste disposal. Our optimising cross cut saw maximizes the yield from every piece of timber used in the furniture construction with any waste being burned to heat the factory work area, spray booth and offices.
