We are a local family business and have been involved with the blind industry for nearly 25 years. We are also part of Underwood Hardware & DIY Ltd, where we have a blinds showroom at the rear of the premises. We cover a large area including Felixstowe, Ipswich and Woodbridge. We also offer a comprehensive repair service and advice regarding any type of blind or situation. Awnings are becoming ever more popular and we are able to fit to most locations as we have the facility to have the necessary brackets manufactured to enable fitting in the most awkward places.

When open, the panels stack neatly behind one another allowing maximum light to enter the room. Sliding the blind into the closed position creates a unique fabric screen that provides light control and privacy. Depending on the number of panels required and the size of opening, they can be either be single side drawn, allowing you a maximum of 5 panels, or a split draw taking the panel quantity up to ten.

Vertical blinds offer maximum flexibility. The innovative design allows the louvres to be drawn neatly back fully to either side or to open evenly from the centre in the way of curtains to offer clear views. They are designed to be rotated to allow you to control light levels within your room and yet maintain privacy. Recently verticals have taken on a new lease of life, with a continuing increase in the choice of colours, textures and patterns and yet still remaining one of the most cost effective window coverings, making them ideal in conservatories and other large glass areas.

We have the facility to design and manufacture certain styles of brackets that enable our awnings to be fitted to parts of your house that would not seem possible. Our awnings and canopies are all made in Suffolk by Caribbean Blinds who have many years of experience in this field. There is a vast choice of fabrics and styles on offer from traditional stripes to contemporary styles. Awnings can be remotely operated if required or hand cranked.

Venetian blinds can give a modern, minimal feel to any room while still being practical. Available in four slat widths - 16mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm, a size for all windows. With fine aluminium slats, they almost disappear when open helping to brighten the room rather than clutter. Their clean, simple lines work really well in modern kitchens and bathrooms and when choosing metallic slats, they are a great complement to ceiling spotlights by reflecting light beautifully. We have a vast range of colours and textures from bright colours that will lighten up the darkest rooms to peaceful neutrals and wood tones.

Roman blinds have a rich history and have been a popular window dressing for many years. They can bring a simple elegance to any room, either on their own or as a compliment to curtains. They have the ability to offer a high level of privacy as black out options are available. Roman blinds fabrics are numerous, offering a choice of colours, designs and patterns. Matching material can be supplied if required. All Romans blinds can be removed from their tracks in order for the fabrics to be dry-cleaned and for an increasing number of fabrics, to be machine washed.

These blinds are the most popular window covering, available in 25mm, 35mm and 50mm slats. White wooden venetian blinds tend to give a very light and airy feel, while wood tones give a feeling of warmth. Even when the blind is open, it gives a remarkable amount of privacy. There is a large range of control options to choose from along with matching or contrasting tapes.
