Sanderson's Fine Furniture and Joinery is a family run business established in 1991 by Nigel Sanderson. All products produced at Sanderson's are manufactured by hand in our workshops. We take pride in manufacturing high quality, traditionally made furniture and joinery products to customers' individual specifications. Sanderson's are high quality bespoke joinery manufacturer making traditionally made furniture and joinery products. Each piece is designed and handmade in our workshops to suit customers individual specifications. This enables us to provide customers with ideas and advice to ensure each piece is perfect to meet their requirements. Sanderson's Joinery only uses top quality prime hardwoods and softwoods that include: oak, sapele, idigbo, mahogany, walnut, ash, cherry, sycamore, red grandis, sapele, redwood etc.
Stairs can be manufactured from all hardwood or softwoods eg oak, mahogany, ash etc. The treads and risers can be made out of hardwood, softwood or MDF depending if it is going to be carpeted or not. Sanderson's Joinery also offer customers the opportunity to design their own spindle profile (square or round) from 35 mm to 45 mm thick, thus making their stairs unique to them. The finished stairs can be supplied and fitted in either the white (not polished) or polishedin a colour/stain of the customer's choice.
Door styles fromcottage, Victorian, Georgian, French, stable, half glazed etc. To see examplesof doors we have manufactured select either external doors or internal doors. Allourdoors are constructed using traditional mortise and tenoned joints making them stronger and more durable. External doors are either 45 mm or 57 mm thick and Internal doors are 35 mm thick (unless specified otherwise). We also stock a wide range of handmade wrought iron and other styles of door furniture/ironmongery. All joinery products are traditionally produced using only the highest quality materials. Only prime grade hardwood or softwood timber is used for all our products. All internal timber is kiln dried to approximately 11% moisture content and all external timber is air dried to approximately 17% moisture content. Every piece of handmade furniture is designed and manufactured to each customer's own personal requirements and specifications. Sanderson's Joinery only uses the highest quality kiln dried hardwood and softwood materials. A piece of handmade furniture can be of a unique design or made to match existing piece. For example a side-table to match a wall cupboard or a carver chair to match a set of dining chairs. Every piece of handmade furniture produced by Sanderson's Joinery is one off, which making each piece special.
