We are now in our 20th year as a business for unique quality furniture, and we put this down to the personal service we provide. Each piece is created, upholstered, or re-upholstered by my partner Mark, so you can be assured that the people you speak to are the same people who will be making your order.

Thank you for visiting our website, and for wanting to read our story. For starters, we are Heather and Mark - the husband and wife team behind A Little Furniture Shop. We met in 2000, and after a whirlwind time we opened our first store in Shrewsbury in 2001! Heather had worked a variety of sales jobs, and Mark had always done what he loved, which is making furniture and upholstery from scratch, Mark had been selling these through interior designers and boutique shops - so, with a fabulous saleswoman on side, A Little Furniture Shop was born!
