Since the charity was registered in 1996, Furniture Recycling Project (FRP) has been at the heart of Gloucestershire communities. FRP reuse items that would otherwise be sent to landfill, offer meaningful volunteering opportunities and provide good-quality, affordable household items. We are sorry to announce that we have now closed our shop at Gloucester and Lydney in line with Government rules.
I bought a couple of wooden planters that were perfect for the garden and very reasonably priced. I'm pleased to have bought something that was once something else and helped others in the process!
Spoke to a lovely lady called Ellie yesterday and without any fuss or hassle she was able to find my terminally ill Dad a raise and recline chair for him to rent at a very reasonable monthly cost. Not only that but it was delivered with 24 hours of the conversation. It arrived early and Dad was shown how to use it. We then had a follow up phone call to ask if everything was ok and to call if help was needed. Cannot fault this company and their level of care. Thank you!
We are delighted to be opening our Gloucseter shop on Wednesday 1st July. We will have staff training for the initial hour or so. We will open our doors at 11am and we look forward to seeing you all again. Our staff are all fully trained and our shop has been reorganised to allow for social distancing and we have sanitation stations throughout the store and safety screens, one way systems to ensure a safe shopping environment.we will offer our usual delivery service but we are unable to accept.
We are once again sorry to announce that we are unable to open our shops as planned on 5th January as we are not an essential shop. All deliveries that were arranged before the Christmas period will still be fulfilled in January, we will contact any customers with a delivery in January on the 5th to.
We are pleased to inform you that we will reopen on Thursday 3rd December, Both shops will be open with safety measures in place to protect our customers and staff. We have some amazing furniture in stock and will be offering our normal delivery service with added safety measures to keep everyone safe.
