Parkhouse specialise in restoring antique and modern furniture, established in Exeter for over 30 years we offer a range of high quality services that include French Polishing and Upholstery. Our skilled craftsmen and upholsterers have many years of experience in their chosen trades, using a combination of both traditional and modern techniques. The majority of our projects come through recommendations from satisfied private customers who have been impressed with our level of service and craftsmanship.
Initial Enquiry & Free Estimates: Should you require an initial estimate before we visit to inspect the item(s) that you require restoring we are more than happy to discuss your requirements, to help us give you the best possible idea of the work involved it would be useful if you can email photographs in the first instance. Inspection & Assessment: We will always discuss, in detail, the exact work required and happily take the time to ascertain exactly what is required. You can either bring the furniture to our workshop or alternatively we are happy to make home/business consultations at your convenience.
Insurance Claims and Accidental Damage - Should you unfortunately need to claim on your insurance for water, fire or accidental damage we can help. We work directly with disaster management companies and insurance firms as well as individuals that need help with a claim. Modern Finishes - This clear lacquer finish is usually the choice, for modern fittings or furnishings. Repair & Restoration Work - Damaged or missing veneers & inlays repaired, and made good before French Polishing. Colour Matching - Timber stained, coloured and French polished to match the existing finishes.
Finished these in Clarke & Clarke Konya fabric, been wanting to use it for a while and chuffed with the results.
