Although we are best known for our traditional furniture and mirrors we are not confined to the classical style; we also design and create contemporary pieces. To complement our Collection we provide bespoke furniture design and an onsite advisory service to support and guide clients. The Company's long history in antiques and furniture making also means that we are uniquely placed to undertake skilled furniture restoration and conservation work. A collection of over 300 pieces of exceptional classical furniture, reflecting the architectural design and craftsmanship of Robert Adam, William Kent and Thomas Chippendale, among others. All our pieces are created in exactly the same way as the originals; each model is carefully researched, designed and finished with the utmost attention to detail.
Jonathan Sainsbury (UK) Limited, is a family run business with four generations of experience in the field of furniture restoration and conservation. Our large team of qualified craftsmen employ many of the same traditional techniques as our ancestors and keep up-to-date with advances in knowledge and skills to ensure that each piece of furniture is sensitively and accurately restored to its original inherent beauty. Over the years we have built up an enormous collection of restoration materials such as, 18th century timber veneers, period hardware and glass.
