Dining tables, dining chairs, sideboards, dressers - furniture that suits your dining room to a T, but doesn't have to stay within its confines. A dining table can become a kitchen table, a dining chair works as a bedroom's dressing chair, and sideboards and dressers will be right at home in your sitting room. Does your home have an open-plan downstairs layout? Have you knocked down walls to bid a fond farewell to the dining room so that you have one large kitchen-dining room? Or, are you fortunate enoug.
Lloyd Loom is a brilliant material for chairs you'll be sat in for a while because it flexes ever so slightly to your body. There are two Lloyd Loom designs in our collection - this is Montague, the more straight-lined and simple of the two. Wardley's a contemporary take on the classic Windsor chair, for when you want to nod to tradition but prefer clean lines and a minimal aesthetic. It comes in a choice of natural or darkened oak or tulipwood painted in your choice of colour. Like Montague, Havana's made from ever-so comfortable Lloyd Loom.
We're into lighting in a big way. We've studied the relationship between light and shade, we've examined its many possible tones (both natural light and artificial), we've considered how light is architecturally made, and we've gradually learnt how to control light in a way that mimic nature's dappled shades. Lighting, done properly, can completely transform an atmosphere. A favourite subject amongst interior designers and writers alike, there's a lot to say (and a lot that you can read) when it comes to lighting your home.
Whether it's a useful little wall light to illuminate your way up the path, or festoon lights that create a festive atmosphere when strung from fences and pergolas, lighting is a touch that'll transform your garden come evening. While our cordless Hanover lamp isn't suitable for leaving outside in wet weather, it is perfect for taking out with you to light a dining table or garden living area. Choose between two sizes and bronze or nickel finishes.
Your outside space is as much a part of your home as any room inside it is - whether you have acres to play with or just a few feet. Which is why our collection includes not just dining tables and chairs, but also sofas, armchairs, and side, coffee and console tables, all designed with as much thought as our indoor pieces. That way, you can make the most of your garden when the weather's warm - and even when it gets a little chillier too. The key to making your outdoor living spaces feel as welcoming as those inside?
Our slate tiles combine the smartness of their deep grey colour with the tactility of their matt finish, a contemporary shape (for creating brick or herringbone patterns) with this stone's sense of rural heritage.
Our classic Chichester collection takes its inspiration from traditional English country house and cottage furniture, but with a pared-back feel that means it still suits modern homes. Choose from useful and beautiful pieces: a freestanding chopping block, a potboard and three sizes of wine rack. Our tall, slim Sunbury sideboard is versatile in both looks and use. A pared-back and elegant design, it'll feel right at home in both traditional and more contemporary spaces (especially as you can choose from any of our paint colours), while its shelves and drawer could be used for all sorts from larder tins and packets to serveware and cutlery.
Your kitchen should be nothing short of a pleasure to live with. When you look at it, it should make you feel good. Every day. And when you use it, it should make life a bit easier. In ways big and small. That's how your Neptune kitchen will be designed. With a focus on timeless looks and the highest quality materials and with total consideration for how you want to live your life. Having a new kitchen is one of the most exciting things you can do to your home. But it's a big investment. You want to be sure it's worth it, that it's going to endure, and that there's more to it than face value.
Aldwych is one of our most minimal bedside tables, all about the simplicity of the clean lines, which means that it works in both more traditional and contemporary rooms. It's a painted design, available in Snow or Warm Black or made-to-order in any of the other shades in our paint library. Blenheim's the bedside table that really celebrates the beauty of oak. Its carved and curving design, inspired by an antique table spotted at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, highlights the character of the grain, which we've then stained a deep, rich brown.
28 timeless paint shades - plenty of choice, but not so much to overwhelm - all available as water-based, low-VOC, environmentally-friendly matt emulsion and eggshell. And not forgetting our seasonal and archive shades, primer and paint booklet. These are colours for those that like their interiors clean and crisp. You'll find our blue shades in the Nordic paint palette, but, they all have a hint of green in them to stop them from feeling too cold. The grey shades in the Smoke palette can come across as quite blue in some lights and, in others, have a green undertone.
Curtains and blinds are one of those parts of your home that need to do a lot of different things at once. You might want them to completely block out the light or filter it through, keep the warmth in or give you just a little extra privacy and soften your room. Or all of the above. And to do that well takes a lot of attention to detail. Which is why we've created a collection that's considered from the fabrics and linings to the headings and poles. Because too much choice is overwhelming, we've edited all the options down as well.
Like with everything we do, we thought, and we thought, and we thought some more about everything we would want in our own lives from a laundry room. We tried the widest and the narrowest vacuum cleaners and ironing boards to ensure they could neatly tuck away at the same time within the same cabinet, and we considered spaces large and small to ensure there's a solution for every home. We didn't leave a 'peg' unturned. Most of our laundry room pieces belong to our Chichester kitchen collection (apart from the broom cupboard, which you'll also find in Henley and Suffolk).
Our Chichester fitted cabinetry features all the same classic details as our Chichester washstands - including a painted finish in your choice of colour - but you can combine the various cabinet sections any way you like. To design your configuration, simply visit us in store.
Several seasons ago, our design team created Caspar - a club armchair that's all about heritage, from its oak legs and brass studs to its tan leather upholstery. Its neat proportions, its ever-so soft sit and its old-world curb appeal all went down a storm and soon, many of you were asking whether a sofa shape could one day come into the collection.
Our Gustavian-inspired wardrobe, Larsson features delicate carved details, elegantly tapered feet and a gently distressed finish - although you can choose a flat finish with our custom paint service.
Our Home Design Service is an easier, less overwhelming way to bring interior design into your home. You'll have breadth and choice but not a daunting amount. You'll have the timeless Neptune look but with room to make it your own. And you'll have one of our designers with you to make your home the best that it can be. If you're thinking of redecorating, be it one, two or ten rooms, we've got all the tools you'll need in one place, ready to create your very own version of a Neptune home. At Neptune, we do what we do - from our Home Design Service to the pieces we make - because we believe that good, considered design can make your life that little bit happier and easier.
Because living rooms were made to be lived in, we've created a collection of designs that you don't need to tiptoe around. From upholstery to tables and storage, each piece is designed to stand the test of time, in every sense of the word. So, you can sit down, put your feet up and relax, safe in the knowledge your living space will look just as good in years to come as it does now. Ways to rekindle the joy of an evening in, from the practical (choosing the perfect seat), to the fun (setting up a home cinema) to the emotive (why 'hygge' is still relevant).
Home offices come in all sorts of forms, which is why these pieces will suit the corner of a kitchen as much as they will a room of their own. From desks, workstations and chairs, to bookcases and sideboards, they'll help you create a workspace that makes even paperwork a bit more enjoyable. And not forgetting all the littler details, for lighting, decorating and bringing a sense of order to your space. Whatever its style. Baskets, lighting, decorative accessories - they're the often unsung heroes of your home office, bringing calm to the paperwork chaos, adding a creative touch here and there, and making working from home as enjoyable as can be.
Some bathrooms are relaxing spaces. Others are a little more hectic. But, whether yours is a personal retreat or a room all the family shares, you can help it on its way to becoming calmer with thoughtful storage, durable and natural finishes, and accessories that are as attractive as they are practical. There's nothing quite like seeing, touching and snuggling up with our designs in real life. Well the good news is that you can do that with all of our autumn arrivals in any of our stores, and they're spaces that are as safe, as welcoming and as tranquil as ever.
While Larsson is certainly a pretty and delicately-proportioned table design - with its tapered legs, curved upstand and carved details - we've also kept it simple and clean-lined. It has a subtly distressed finish too, in off-white and pale grey, but you can also opt for a flat painted finish in any of our colours. Chichester is one of our most classic furniture collections. Each piece has a simple, country aesthetic and is expertly crafted from the best natural materials, including, in this dressing table, a top made from characterful and warm oak and strong tulipwood legs painted in your choice of colour.
Once upon a time, sofas, armchairs and footstools spent their days sat, quite comfortably, in living rooms alone. But these are the pieces that comfort us, that provide us with a moment of rest and a spot of recuperation. These are the pieces that encourage us to sit back and put our feet up. We might not find the time to nap, but we can at least find the time to sit. So we invite them with open arms into every room of the home. One sofa doesn't fit all. We hope that you find our collection offers a spectrum of style, and once you've chosen your design, you can make it your own thanks to our Neptune Tailored service.
From bed frames and beside-the-bed pieces made using proper timber so they'll stand the test of time; to carefully-considered wardrobes and drawers for any number of clothes; to a mattress that's made from natural, breathable fibres and traditionally hand-stitched in Yorkshire. When it comes to decorating your home's bedrooms come winter, it's very often only children's spaces that get a look in. From twinkling fairy lights to the stocking hung on the end of their bed to. There's nothing quite like seeing, touching and snuggling up with our designs in real life.
A kitchen's an investment. In time, in money and when it comes to adding value to your home. So, we want to make sure we respect that by doing everything we can to make your kitchen feel more than worthwhile and to give you as much as possible within your design. And because there are lots of cabinetry options to mix and match, it means that, if you're on a strict budget, we'll always try to figure out a way to make your dream kitchen happen. People are often surprised just how much kitchen their Neptune designer can create on a relatively small budget.
A long slender room is made for a galley kitchen design and often preferred by professional chefs because of their efficient layout. When Vivienne added an extension to their West Sussex home, she re-created that linear feel by using a large Chichester kitchen island anchored in the middle of the.
When we first designed our Henley kitchen we tended to leave it bare, appreciating the soft grain and natural colour of the oak. But, paint it in our palest, freshest white (Snow), set against the dark drama of Ink finished walls, and add an attention-grabb ing brass splashback, as Sarah has done.
Do you like curves in a bathroom? Does it feel too decorative or wonderfully self-assured and timeless?
Style or storage? Sometimes it feels like you have to make a choice. But, if you can fit in an island it should take away the need to choose.
This kitchen had us at the window. A swoon-worthy floor-to-ceilin g focal point just asking you to press fingers and toes against the glass to admire the view.
