Since deciding to set up independently in 2008 it has always been Matthew's aim to deliver a customer driven service from design to completion of every job. Special care is taken to ensure that every client not only ends up with something that is great to look at but an item that will stand the test of time. With a history of woodwork stretching back to his teenage years winning commissions for Grade 1 listed building restorations, years volunteering with the National Trust and many years working in the domestic market providing furniture solutions to homes in the North East, Matthew has a keen interest and understanding of timber and its applications all the way from the forest, through the timber-yard all the way to the final product.
The process of commissioning bespoke furniture begins with a discussion about your individual requirements and style. Whether you have an idea in mind for a piece of furniture that you would like created, but require practical advice along the way or you would like to be inspired with designs created for you based on certain criteria, there are options for every client. Freed from some of the restrictions of fitted furniture; bespoke free-standing furniture opens up a world of options with the materials that can be implemented.
