Planet Furniture is a family owned business and has been creating beautiful, bespoke kitchens and fine fitted furniture since 2000. We provide both our own exclusive collection Handmade in Hitchin - traditional and contemporary styles created from the finest materials plus the Next125 range - an innovative, sleek range of contemporary cabinets and technology from Germany's leading manufacturer. Every piece of cabinetry and furniture from our handmade collection is handcrafted in our Hertfordshire workshop by our highly skilled craftsmen.

We pride ourselves on being truly bespoke, whilst using the finest materials in the industry. Our talented technical team always work closely with our expert designers and craftsmen to ensure every bespoke element will work seamlessly and look aesthetically beautiful.

From family rooms with bespoke cabinetry and clever storage to utility rooms cleverly furnished and bathrooms to die for, our work doesn't stop with kitchens. We can add value and character to any space or room with pieces that work for you and your family. This beautiful bespoke Home Bar which extends into the basement area has been designed with entertaining in mind. Intelligently built into the space under the stairs, it is made from solid walnut and inset with chrome and antique mirrors. This bespoke study has been built almost entirely from natural walnut.

Our kitchens tend to start at around 30,000 (excluding appliances), other rooms within the home can vary hugely in cost. We will always be able to provide you with an estimate to help you assess the costs prior to design works being undertaken. A typical project will take approximately 4 weeks to complete with hand painted finishes taking an additional 4-5 days on site. Certain items such as quartz/granite worktops and glass or mirrored splashbacks can take approximately 2 weeks from templating to installation so our fitters may not be on site at this time.

Traditional methods of cabinet making are combined with the latest innovative technologies. With every piece of furniture being handmade in our own factory in Hertfordshire, we have full control and the ability to create truly unique kitchens and fitted furniture, without any limits. From hand painted finishes to solid oak & walnut, we create beautiful handmade kitchens to suit each client's individual needs and aspirations. Choice of colour is critical to the finished look of the overall design.
