So, i find myself in possession of a fairly free afternoon. The lads are busy in the workshop and David is asleep and so i thought i would embark on a fairly large blogging project for the day. Most of my blog posts normally come together in anything between 30 minutes to an hour. I could probably write them quicker but unfortunately the connection between my brain and fingers isn't as sharp as it could be and i tend to type as i think, one word at a time and very slowly. Being the massive nerd that i am, i realised the other day that i have photographed a lot of the work that we have undertaken over the past five years.

And so we are on to part 2, part 1 took me just under an hour so working it out i should definitely have enough time for at least a few more this afternoon, as long as i am left alone and don't get asked to do anything silly, you know like actual woodwork or anything to do with handmade furniture. This unit was so big we couldn't get it all in one photo! I think the final measurements were about 7.2 meters long and 2.8m high. The whole thing was made from walnut veneer and designed to fit around the window that looked out into a small seating area.
