Not designed around a modular unit system, but designed around the room it is to live in and the unique way in which you will use it.

At the first consultation, you will meet with Andrew Parsley, the owner of Back to Basics, to discuss what you like (or dislike) in terms of style, design and materials. In the case of a kitchen or home office, this also enables Andrew to find out how you intend to use and live in the room. Andrew has 25 years of experience designing kitchens to meet clients' needs. You are in safe hands! We then produce an initial design proposal and costing, which we talk you through at our workshop, where samples are on hand to demonstrate finishes and materials.

We can custom-build cabinets, bookshelves, home offices, bedroom furniture, tables and more from a wide variety of timbers and finishes, either from your own drawings or our interpretations of your ideas. Poured resin turns the natural cracks and fissures in characterful wood into designer-style, unique pieces. Coffee tables, dining tables, island worktops, sideboards, serving platters - you name it, we can make it! Resin is available in a variety of colours, shimmering or gloss.
