Berkshire Logs of whom we share the same grounds sell briquettes, Coal, kindling wood and logs for sale delivered direct to your door.
We offer a professional repair service for all your furniture whether it be antique, vintage or modern. This can be from straight forward chair and table repairs, cleaning and reviving old finishes to more substantial renovation work. Each item that is brought to us is assessed individually with the customer to decide the best way to proceed.
At Chissock Woodcraft, we offer a bespoke furniture making service to our customers. In addition we make our own range of furniture. Where possible, we use reclaimed timber to build items of furniture and we only use timber that is sourced from sustainably managed forests that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We offer a design and build service and work with our customers to create items that are both unique and specific to their requirements. Our furniture is made by combining traditional skills and craftsmanship with a contemporary feel for design.
If your looking to buy restored, reclaimed furniture or need to commission any woodwork or wood craft, I highly recommend visiting or talking to Chissock Woodcraft.

Nice to walk by my latest bench I made around the beginning of the first lockdown.
I love doing a bit of upholstery with some nice music in the workshop at this time of year. These three chairs have all turned up rather wrecked and it's been fun re-doing them. The carver chair had a broken rush seat, the child's chair was brown and broken and the recliner was from Mum's garage.
Ever since arriving at the Coach House site in 2006 I wanted to have a place where people could go for quiet, for prayer, for a chat or for reflection. It's a place for everyone on-site, for Yeldall staff and residents and I hope for others that would like to use it. I've added a new window I made.
One of my latest projects is building a Shepherd's hut. (Although not actually destined to be used by shepherds). I bought this old farm hay trailer (possibly an old MOD trailer from the last war) near Aylesbury last winter. Having great fun doing it up and making the hut. It will be about 15ft long.
