Established in 2012 Kibworth Antiques Centre is very proud to be Leicestershire's largest Antiques and Interiors centre. With upwards of 60 dealers showcasing their finds across 10,000 square foot the centre offers a real eclectic mix of treasures that you won't find on the high street. Whether you are looking for traditional antiques or retro/vintage items you will always find something to suit all budgets. Split between our two buildings 'The Old Showroom' and 'The Den' you can wander uninterrupted through our many rooms of antiques, furniture and curios.
With a shared passion for antiques we opened the Kibworth Antiques Centre on the A6 near Kibworth, Leicestershire on 6th October 2012. When we first visited the former BMW showroom in the spring of 2012 we knew immediately that it would make a fantastic space for an antiques centre and by the September we had collected the keys and our work started. We opened without a single dealer signed up and as we began to get it all together we knew within a couple of weeks that we had made the right decision.
The Old Showroom is deceptive in size as it opens out from its long glass frontage rather like Doctor Who's Tardis, providing a vast array of individual showcase rooms and includes a large upstairs with further dealers' display areas. In fact, The Old Showroom is home to around 40 very different dealers selling anything from traditional antiques to French furniture, glassware, ceramics and other collectables. Although large, The Old Showroom has a very homely feel as each dealer has made their stand into a unique 'shop within a shop' and is a joy to explore.
Great place to visit, have a nosey round, cuppa and all the staff are so nice.bought our lovely Island kitchen unit from one of the dealers and is.
Fabulous place. Large premises to mooch around with plenty of items to explore and at reasonable prices. Delightful tea room. And the best staff.
We visited you today and bought a few items, loved the place, so many nice items, nooks and crannies all over to explore, I am sure we missed an awful.
Wine seems to be a popular choice at the moment. So I thought I'd share with you this handmade wine rack made out of old whisky barrels. Handmade by the very talented @bradgatewoodcr aft
