Nick, our founder, has been involved furniture retail all of his career (longer than he cares to admit!) and is also a fully qualified furniture designer. He joined the family business (which was created in 1918 by his grandmother) in 1989 and has lived and breathed furniture ever since. He's always worked with the best furniture manufacturers in Europe, and resisted the trend for far eastern imports. As a result you can be sure of the quality, and of his wealth of knowledge. These days we don't retail in the conventional sense but offer a referral service, connecting the public with furniture suppliers and makers, and offering technical, design, and planning advice.
