Jack Trench Ltd creates award winning bespoke kitchens and furniture, offering a completely tailored service from initial concept and design through to manufacture and installation. Our team of designers, cabinet-makers and installers are dedicated to producing kitchens of the highest quality - everything we do is driven by a commitment to exceptional design and a clear understanding of our clients' requirements. Our design-led approach and collaborative way of working allows us to meet and often exceed whatever brief has been set while placing a strong emphasis on clear lines of communication and creative problem solving throughout the entire design and manufacturing process.

Our Clerkenwell showroom is closed for the time being in adherence to the new lockdown guidelines however, it is very much business as usual in our workshops and studio in North London. Our hugely dedicated cabinet makers continue to create beautiful bespoke kitchens and fine furniture while our design and sales teams remain on hand to advise on new projects and commissions via telephone and online consultations. Our Clerkenwell showroom is open by appointment for general visits and design consultation meetings.

Our cabinet-makers and site fitters are DuPont® Corian©-accredited and fully trained in the manufacture and installation of this extraordinarily versatile and beautiful solid surface material. At Jack Trench, 100% of our Corian© work is undertaken in-house rather than subcontracted to external suppliers. Our expertise encompasses all types of bespoke Corian© production, from worktops, external surfaces and the cladding of doors and drawers to the fabrication of more complex fittings such as custom-designed sinks, vegetable drawers and other joinery items.

Our comprehensive and in-depth CPD presentation looks to develop architects' and interior designers' knowledge and understanding in the essential principles of fitted joinery as well as the key elements required for the specification, design and successful delivery of a bespoke kitchen project. The team here found Jack's presentation insightful and enjoyable. The honest review of past experiences offer a generous level of knowledge sharing for us to build upon in future designs. In particular, Jack shares his obvious passion and care for detailing and testing while a useful segment of the CPD provided critical appraisals and physical examples of materials and finishes along with honest reviews of how they fair with wear.

We are authorised Miele Premium Partners, offering a comprehensive service in the supply and installation of Miele's built-in appliances. The Miele brand is synonymous with performance, design, innovation and longevity and we are proud to showcase a considered selection of their precision-manufactured appliances in our Clerkenwell Showroom. As part of our manufacturing process we dry-fit all Miele built-in appliances in our factory, from cooktops and ovens to refrigeration and dishwashers. Once we are ready for installation, our highly experienced site team will liaise with your appointed contracter, plumber or electrician to ensure a smooth install and handover process for your Miele kitchen appliances.

Founder and director Jack Trench trained in industrial design and worked at an architectural practice before setting up Jack Trench Ltd in 2003. Since then the company has maintained its original ethos of delivering high-end joinery and bespoke kitchens and has developed into a growing team of cabinet-makers, site fitters, designers and studio staff. Though we work mainly in London and the UK, we have also completed projects throughout Europe. The company's co-director Edd Thurston is Head of Design and Production; together, Edd and Jack oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio and workshop.

The commissioning of a bespoke kitchen is about creating a product that fits perfectly with your lifestyle. Whether you come to us with a resolved design or only a very general idea of what you wish to achieve, we will work with you to define a clear brief for the design of your kitchen. We offer our expertise through a consultative process that is based on addressing your specific requirements. At an initial consultation we will very often discuss the layout and functionality of the space, look at samples of veneers, wood timbers, metal finishes or stone and recommend the most appropriate appliances for your needs.
