Design and sustainability pioneers Marie Cudennec Carlisle and Oliver Waddington-Ball opened the doors to Goldfinger at the foot of Trellick Tower in 2013. Named after Ern Goldfinger - the infamous architect of our Grade II listed Brutalist home and inspiration for Ian Fleming's notorious Bond villain - we decided to take its literal meaning as guiding inspiration: the material we touch, we turn to gold. The art of joinery happens in our North Kensington workshop. We design and craft bespoke furniture and homeware for residential homes and many London businesses, such as hotels to cafes, shops and offices.
We design and make bespoke furniture for businesses and homes. We collaborate with some of London's finest architects and designers and make everything happen in our wonderful West London workshop at the foot of Trellick Tower. Your needs and wishes are our design priority for every piece of furniture. Our expert craftspeople craft every piece with care and select the best quality sustainable materials with you. We consider commissions both small and large - from side tables for your home to fit-outs for hotels, shops and offices.
Have a browse through our selection of outstanding sustainable furniture and homeware design from Goldfinger and our closest partners. Every purchase is planet positive, independent, community empowering and fabulous for your home, of course.
Companies sponsor apprentices who learn the craft from our experts. Primarily aimed at young local residents not in work or education, our programme teaches skills such as joinery, carpentry, cabinet making metalwork and paint effects. On-the-job training done alongside an accreditation at the Building Crafts College and empowers trainees to become independent craftspeople.
Delicious Sicilian food made on site, excellent value, friendly, passionate staff, with a community, neighborhood vibe!
Excellent place, it's a community based project, small businesses helping the community and being allowed to share their products and skills. At the same time the businesses can grow. I would suggest visiting The Goldfinger Factory and see what you think.
