Isokon Plus is a furniture maker. We work with designers and architects to bring their ideas to fruition. We use time-honed skills, fine solid timbers, handpicked veneers, and robust debate to go from conception to prototype to manufacture. And we've done it this way since 1931. From Isokon's London workshop, we make small batches of timeless and enduring furniture.

Together with designers and architects, we build prototype after prototype. We meddle, tweak, and debate. We test, rebuild, and test again. Relentless refinement until an original sketch evolves into the best piece of furniture it can possibly be. It takes a skilled maker to craft an Isokon Plus piece, one possessing a meticulous attention to detail and an obsession with quality. It takes time too. Our team, led by Chris McCourt and Mark Smith, makes furniture in small batches. We're efficient with our resources, but we don't rush.

Our furniture is the culmination of many brains at work-thought, craft and experimentation comes together in every single chair, stool or sofa we make. We forge long-lasting partnerships with designers who understand, and respect, the ideals of our founders. It began with Walter Gropius and continues with Barber & Osgerby. Timeless and harmonious. Generation-to-generation. All respected, championed and occasionally challenged by Isokon Plus.
