Norbury Park Wood Products

Norbury Park Wood Products is a traditional sawmill and carpentry workshop managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust. We are an active sawmill and fully functional wood workshop located in the heart of the Surrey countryside. We have been established for over forty years and specialise in producing a range of high quality outdoor and countryside furniture, made from the finest English timbers, using traditional skills and techniques. We only source our timber from sustainably managed reserves and, wherever possible, source locally in order to minimise our "log miles".

At Norbury Park Wood Products we create a range of signature countryside furniture for a broad spectrum of customers, from national parks and country estates to parish councils and village bowls clubs. The majority of our range is made from English oak. As well as making products from green oak, we also produce a range of kiln-dried oak products - mainly benches. We have our own wood-fired kiln that allows us to dry carefully selected oak in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The resultant timber is used to create our range of top quality products.

From time to time we may have a variety of very attractive discounts on clearance stock of our products or timber. Please check back regularly to discover what is currently available. This 5 foot long free-standing English oak bench would be ideal as extra seating to take a break from the strenuous gardening! These green* English Pippy Oak, often called "cats paw oak", planks were set aside by our sawyer. They were not suitable for the job he was milling but could make some beautiful shelves, side tables or many other items.

We offer a range of high quality outdoor products suitable for use in the garden and the external aspects of houses and outbuildings. All our products are handmade by our team of highly skilled craftsmen using traditional materials and methods. We use only the best quality English timber, which we source from local and sustainable reserves. Our workshop consists of a team of highly skilled dedicated craftsmen, who are trained in traditional methods of joinery. Each workshop order is purpose built by hand.
