I forgot to mention my brother referred us to you. I have enjoyed your beautifully crafted chairs many a time at his house, reading my nieces stories while sitting by the fire. So I am excited to have our very own chair with which we will create family memories.
Leather Chairs of Bath is a family-run business, established in October 1988 by Nick and Sara Loxton. We have been making hand-dyed leather furniture for 25 years. Using very traditional upholstery standards, we create leather sofas and chairs that, once broken in, look as though they could be antique. After 18 years in Bartlett Street in the centre of Bath, we moved, in 2006, to a new showroom on London Road, 1 mile from the heart of the city.
Our hand-dyed leather bears all of the hallmarks of natural, full grain hide-scars, stretch marks, grain and texture variation, even the tell-tale signs of barbed wire! And, although the effect can be very pleasing, our hand-dyed leather can fade in direct sunlight. The second picture is of one of our Desk Chairs, in an 'Olive green' leather, in a ski chalet near Verbier.
