We are open for business with every intention of staying this way. To do this, we've rolled out major changes to our usual working routines. Our factory is open, engineered wood flooring in full production and our sales office is open for samples and enquiries. Our materials are 90% UK sourced and we are stocked with all the ingredients needed to manufacture many beautiful bespoke wooden floors for the forseeable future.
Once narrowing down your selection, you may wish to request a large floorboard sample / working sample, which is a very wise idea. We do have to charge for long floorboard samples which will be Fed-Exed to you but deduct this cost from your order. You can also visit our factory showroom to select and takeaway samples. Our experts are always available for flooring and installation advice and to talk through your concepts and help you realise your ideas. We have a wide range of our engineered wood flooring and parquet flooring installed.
Glue Down / Bond - by far the best method of installing our engineered wood flooring is to glue / bond it directly to the floor screed using MS Polymer floor adhesive. Secret-Nail - this can be over any wooden subfloor using a tool called a Porta-Nailer. This is a manual tool that fires a specially designed nail through the tongue of the flooring at a 45 degree angle for invisible fixing. This tool can be hired at good flooring / tool retail outlets for as little as 10 per day. Float - if bonding or nailing of the floor is impossible or impractical, our engineered wood flooring can be floated however it is is not a method that we would recommend particurlarly for wide-plank flooring.
Our Natural Ash flooring looks as gorgeous as nature intended. Beautiful organic creamy greige hues are retained with our Natural UV Oil finish. American White Ash is a beautiful, naturally pale hardwood with a long wavy grain and stunning figuring. Natural Ash is perfect for a Scandinavian style interior with its pale creamy tones, natural appeal and earthy ability to transform the feel of a space. The beauty of Ash Flooring lies in both its pale figuring and inner strength. Ash is naturally a very hardwearing yet flexible timber traditionally used to make Baseball bats.
We export our engineered wooden floors to Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world. We are finding post-Brexit that now has never been a better time for overseas buyers to take advantage of a weaker pound and our export orders have increased accordingly. We of course welcome all exports and enjoying the flurry of inquires / orders from our friends in Southern Ireland. This positive buying trend is encouraging news for British Manufacture and reinforced last week by Reuters. We have been manufacturing engineered wooden floors for over twenty five years and now solely produce engineered wood flooring as opposed to solid wood flooring.
