3. Joinery that will suit properties ranging from contemporary designs to traditional cottages and houses. Doors - Our bespoke wooden doors are made with traditional mortise and tenon joints using a variety of timbers such as Idigbo, Sapele and of course European / English oak. All of the timbers we use are from sustainable sources and managed forests. We can manufacture hardwood doors to the size you need, in a design that best suits your property. We often use bead and butt, tongue and grooved boarding to give a traditional effect to our doors.
For those of you who aren't yet familiar with the concept of 'engineered' oak flooring, it is a little different to a traditional solid oak floor in terms of the way it's structured. Importantly though, that structure makes no difference to the way it looks. The big difference is that the solid layer of wood you see on top is just the top layer of several - it is what goes on beneath that top layer that really counts. In the case of our high quality engineered oak boards, below the top layer (wear layer) of oak is a multi-layered hardwood ply that forms its 'under-core'.
Despite the fact our engineered wood flooring outsells our solid oak, we do still supply one of the best solid oak floors on the market. Our solid European oak flooring can offer warmth, beauty and comfort to your family home as well as durability. This solid oak flooring is tongue and grooved all round and is one of the easiest types of solid oak floors to fit. As a long established family flooring business, we do a lot of advisory work as well as sales. We recommend to all of our customers that they do take a look at our high spec.
We have now been able to expand our popular 'Supreme' engineered wood flooring range after continuous demands. We nowinclude a 21mm American black engineered walnut flooring. As with all of the boards in the 'Supreme' range, this quality engineered flooring has an overall thickness of 21mm with a 6mm solid wear layer of solid hardwood on the top surface. Underneath the 6mm of walnut is a 10 layer multi-laminate hardwood ply which is what gives the boards a vast amount of strength and stability. American black walnut is one of the most stunning materials used for flooring.
It is important that you choose, fit and finishyour flooring in a way that will give you a practical, problem free and beautiful floor that is going to last you a lifetime. There a number of different methods which can be used to lay our flooring and every project is a little different, this makes ithard for us to cover every aspect of fitting a wooden floor. However, it's in our ethos to try and be as helpful as possible sowe have briefly detailed below some of the most common and recognised methods.
Engineered Oak Flooring is by far the biggest part of our business. We have found that our engineered oak ranges to sell unbelievably well due to their unbeatable quality and value for money. A variety of different widths, lengths and thicknesses available in both pre treated and untreated boards, generally means we will have a high specification board that will fit your job. Our Engineered Walnut Flooring is a product that we introduced last year due to continuous demands from customers. We were asked to supply a walnut floor made to the same high specification as our engineered oak, and we have delivered.

Tom was incredibly helpful and patient in guiding me through the various possible alternative types of flooring and the pros and cons of each for my new conservatory. I asked many, many questions, all of which were answered extremely informatively. My resulting decision, LVT Wood Plastic Composite, has proved to be an excellent choice. I highly recommend them.
We bought supreme engineered wood flooring, elastilon underlay and treatex from JFJ Wood Flooring - the quality of the products was excellent, delivery was on time, and we were very happy with the professional and cordial service. The great thing was that JFJ were happy to send us the wooden floor samples and treatex samples free of charge and at a short notice, which helped us make the right decision for our house. Our Lundy Engineered Oak flooring is the second most popular product in our range. It could be because it has a lovely distressed look or because it can be stained to a colour of your choice. Either way we think it's a winner. Take a look if you think this could suit your home or office or even home office.
