The finishes that we use to seal your floor are varied but generally are either Hard Waxoil or Lacquer. There are so many different variants and sheens but the majority of our finish coats are Low to Zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) so they are environmentally friendly, also safe for pets, infants and people with respiratory conditions.

You can now buy your floor unfinished and have it worked and coloured to your exact tastes. We perform this in a controlled environment at our workshop so when the floor is delivered, it is ready for use. Any colour can be produced, and we can age and distress the wood to make it look reclaimed, but at a much lower price than the genuine article. In addition, we can produce bespoke accessories such as solid stair treads and nosings. There is a lot of colour choice on the market these days, but sometimes you just can't get the exact colour or tone you want.

There are three main methods of installation. Which method is used depends on each individual job.
