Engineered Wood floors are built having multiple thin layers with a hardwood veneer that is glued on the top surface. The other layers are typically plywood, high-density fibreboard or hardwood. The Engineered product has been designed to achieve greater stability, especially where moisture or heat can cause problems for solid hardwood floors. The multiple-ply plank counteracts twisting and remains flat and intact. A quality Engineered floor can provide many years of wear and tear as the top layer of solid hardwood is typically 0.6mm to 4.5mm or more and can be re-sanded to look brand new.
We also offer a variety of services including repairing, sanding and polishing, which will restore any flooring to its former beauty. We use the best sanding equipment, which includes a powerful vacuuming system to reduce dust to a minimum.
