Grassby Flooring was established in 1956 by the original owners Mr & Mrs H Grassby. Originating from Hull, Harold was one of the Midland fitters for a national firm Hewetsons. Originally we were a traditional wood company and that meant fitting wood blocks to various patterns, wood strip, parquet flooring and later in the 60's mosaic fingers. We also refurbished existing wooden floors to their original condition. As time has gone by and due to customer demand we have gradually progressed in to other types of finishes, mainly vinyls, linoleums, carpet etc.
