The store was founded back in 1933 by William Francis; he managed the business until his retirement and passed on the reigns to his son Derek. However, no stranger to the family store, Derek had worked there since the age of 14. Just as his father had before him, he ran the business until his own retirement. We have a strong commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. Our stores are equipped with solar panels; in addition, we recycle all our uplifted furniture and packaging - which after sorting has an impressive 95% recycling rate.

And so to our bedroom furniture. A bed is a place to forget the day, rest your head and drift off to the land of nod. It's your haven; a bolt hole, the venue for birthday breakfast in bed, stumble-out-of-bed early mornings and leisurely long lie-ins. We can deliver every item we sell and our drivers work only for us. We do not use outside couriers which means that we retain complete control of quality and also customer feedback - both very important to us at Francis of Malvern. When our drivers arrive at your home they will check the route to your room of choice. They will then carry your goods in and position them for you, unpacking them and removing all of the packaging. This can sometimes involve dismantling and reassembling furniture and even taking off and replacing internal doors.
