Here at Clarke Cunningham Furniture, we supply a range of solid wood flooring to suit any room in the home. Our flooring is finished to 18mm thickness and supplied in widths of 100mm, 125mm, and 150mm. For the discerning client, we have locally sourced Oak. This is a beautiful floor full of character. Native oak can be slightly darker in patches and include a mix of intense burr, 'cats paw' and coloured areas. A unique and distinctive timber, Elm provides a wonderful range of colours to provide a classy floor full of character.
Clarke Cunningham established his Tree Surgery business in 1984 and progressed to employ over 50 people, working on both private and public sector contracts. To handle the cut timber and waste generated by the tree surgery, Ballytrim Sawmills was set up. The sawmill processed the better timber as a saleable commodity, including the production of wooden floors to order, whilst cutting the waste into firewood and wood chips for sale to both private clients, garden centres, councils and other public bodies.
At Clarke Cunningham Furniture we provide a modern approach to commissioning a bespoke piece of furniture. Clients are invited to visit the workshop to view existing examples of work, see timber samples and discuss the design of the proposed piece. All our wooden furniture is handmade from quality timber by people who are both experts in their field and love the craft ensuring stunning workmanship and beautifully crafted timber throughout the process. Working with furniture our designers the design process offers an opportunity for clients to express their ideas on how they wish the final piece to look.
