Hello my name is Tim and I am the managing director of Scribe London Lofts. I am a carpenter by trade, with over 15 years' experience and had always worked for other loft conversion companies. I became frustrated by their lack of customer care and always wanting to get in and out of the job as quickly as possible. I knew I could offer a more personal service including intricate bespoke work, and the attention to details that clients require. So I started Scribe London Lofts in 2010 and haven't looked back.
Throughout the building process, we liaise with the building control to ensure that your loft is compliant with all necessary construction regulations. These include the structure, fire safety, insulation, plumbing and all electrical work. The building control representative will make stage visits and then at the end of the job award a completion certificate which is a crucial piece of documentation when looking to sell your house.
Tim and the team did an amazing job of our loft bedroom with en suite bathroom. Friendly bunch and I was really impressed by their craftsmanship and how they were able to make the most of the space creatively. Love the result, and a few months have gone by since they finished and all still good. They were more expensive than other quotes we got but worth it!
I have had the most positive experience possible from having a loft conversion completed by Scribe London Lofts. I cannot recommend Tim & his team highly enough. They have all exceeded my expectations & gone over & above what is necessary to complete a truly professional job. The team have been extremely polite, punctual, & hard working & Tim is very organised, communicating with me every step of the way. Being one team with Tim on site every day was a real plus for me. The loft was finished promptly & I couldn't be happier. I will not be letting anyone else do any building work for me from now on except for Tim & his team. I cannot thank them enough.

Tim was on hand outside of hours to take calls with queries and happy to communicate with our neighbours to put them at ease.
