We are a family run company that specialises in the manufacture, installation and repair of all types of timber windows and doors including listed building and conservation areas.

Wessex Timber Windows has built upon years of experience in the trade, using a mix of traditional skills and the latest technology, to create timber windows that not only look great, but last for years to come, as the frames are finished with a microporous coating that allows the wood to breathe, keeping out excess rainwater that could cause damage. Wessex Timber Windows Ltd creates new windows to any design, or match original windows to give older homes an authentic period look. Our skilled team is qualified to work on all types of building, including those that are listed, and use a wide range of colours and stains to create something which is truly unique.

All our windows can match existing designs or be designed to your needs and style. These can be manufactured in any colour, stain or finish of your choice with a wide range of ironmongery and glazing to compliment your new windows. Both are elegant additions to your property and allow more natural light into your home. Bay windows usually consist of a large front section with 2 smaller side sections whereas bow windows create more of a curve and tend to have more sections than a bay. All our windows are bespoke to your requirements so we can create a new window to any shape required including curved, arched, circular or triangular.

Traditional sash windows are one of the oldest style windows still used today. We are able to manufacturer these to match existing designs as well as more modern styles. We are able to create sash windows for a listed building and conservation areas as well as a more modern property. Our sash boxes can be made to any size and style including single glazing, double glazing, triple glazing and heritage glazing. These windows come in a choice of your colour, catches and pulls, ropes and weights or spring balances and are fully draught proofed.

All our doors can match existing designs or be designed to your needs and style. These can be manufactured in any colour, stain or finish of your choice with a wide range of ironmongery and glazing to compliment your new door. All our doors can include any locking mechanisms of your choice e.g. Yale type lock, 5 lever mortice lock, Espagnolette locking. A front door is an important part of your home and gives a grand entrance to you and your visitors. From traditional 6 panelled doors to a contemporary design to make a statement we can create a front door to suit your own personal style.

Wessex Timber windows Ltd can not only build and install new sliding sash windows but we can also provide a repair and refurbishment service for those windows which only need a bit of attention.
