We offer residential clients and building professionals a choice of high quality steel windows, doors and screens, tailor-made to your specific requirements, together with a popular collection of conservation rooflights. We provide a complete service - from the provision of technical drawings through to manufacture, installation and after sales support - whether your project is a traditional restoration project, one involving Listed Buildings or Conservation Areas, or a new build. We specialise in replacement windows for heritage projects, yet our windows are the solution for most schemes where metal windows are required.
Thomas Edward Clement worked as an apprentice metalworker and glazier on the new Crystal Palace in 1851 and five generations of Clements have worked with steel windows and glass since. We are very proud of the association the name enjoys with quality and excellence shown by the number of landmark buildings both at home and abroad where steel windows by Clement can be seen. These include Bonhams Auction House in London, Norwich City Hall and the Eldorado, an outstanding apartment building on the edge of Central Park, New York.
Clement's approach is to work in partnership with architects, conservation officers, main contractors and other building professionals to help produce specifications that are visually stunning and offer high technical performance, while respecting and enhancing important heritage and conservation objectives. Arrangements for Listed Buildings or those in Conservation Areas, can replicate existing steel fenestration, while improving thermal performance and security. Specifications for new build projects make the most of steel's strength to produce slender frames with elegant sight lines which are incomparable to other supposedly similar materials such as aluminium.
We know that the right windows make a striking difference to a property and the Clement team work hard to create a unique and stunning look for every client. New or replacement steel windows will enhance your home in a number of ways, resulting in lower energy bills, greater security and a reduction in noise. Clement windows require minimal maintenance and add a level of quality and comfort that older windows simply do not provide. We specialise in replicating existing windows, helping you to maintain the original character of your property.
Clement offer a broad range of window and door furniture to match our steel fenestration products. Available in a choice of styles, colours and finishes, the handles, peg stays, hinges and ancillaries suggested are made from only the best materials and manufactured using the most up-to-date technology available to ensure that your commercial project not only looks stunning, but functions faultlessly too.
They are particularly suitable for Listed Buildings or heritage projects and are regularly recommended by Architects and Conservation Officers. Available from stock in eight standard sizes, our rooflights come in either a tile or slate profile to match the specific roof type, ensuring a flush finish. Clement Conservation Rooflights have been recently been awarded an 'A' WER by the British Fenestration Rating Council.
