Run by local husband and wife team Andy and Michelle Ewings and our team of trained engineers we cover Exeter and the surrounding areas offering pretty much any type of window and door repairs, refurbishments and replacements. We can cope with any type or size of window or door whether for a modern or period residential property or a large industrial building or warehouse. We also fix window and door handles, locks, hinges, mechanisms, runners and seals, fix broken glass, repair misted units, solve leaks and drafts, fit cat flaps and letter boxes and perform routine maintenance to prevent problems occurring in the future.
Replacing or changing a lock - There are plenty of reasons that you may need to change a lock, whether your keys have been lost or stolen, you are moving home or office or you need to upgrade your locks for security reasons or even for a new contents insurance policy. Lock changes need not be expensive, it is important to remember when considering replacing a lock, that it does not always mean the complete lock needs to be changed, as a replacement cylinder or a change of levers is often all that is required.
We can also replace door panels or single pains of glass within a door and can offer you a selection of safety glass and energy saving glass to suit your requirements. We use local suppliers wherever possible which means you don't have too wait long for your new doors and windows to arrive. Once ordered your new units should arrive within a week to 10 days and fitted within the following few days. We can offer single, double or triple glazed units, modern or period, in a range of materials, styles, colours and sizes with locks, handles and ironmongery to match.
We use local suppliers wherever possible which means you don't have too wait long for your new doors and windows to arrive. We offer a 24 emergency call out and can make any broken or damaged units safe and secure. We will start by boarding up the broken unit then order new panes or units from our local suppliers which we will fit as soon as they arrive. As we hold a stock of single glazed window panes on our van we can often fit these at the time of the visit. We can also repair doors that are catching on the floor, hard to open or are difficult to lock or unlock.
