Secondary glazing is a discreet, internal window fitted to an existing single or double-glazed window to enhance performance. Historically, the choice of entrance door has been limited to timber, which can expand, contract or warp and requires regular maintenance or PVCu which lacks the authentic wooden door look. The skins on our doors are manufactured from GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester). They are compression molded to give a high definition panel design which offers authentic timber appearance and the thermosetting manufacturing process means that they are unaffected by variations in temperature. The stiles and rails are of a water resistant composite material and are bonded to the skins.

High security hinges are fitted to all PVCu French doors and protectors are fitted to prevent intruders using a crow bar to gain illegal access. Locking handles come as standard to both doors and you can choose to fit restrictor hinges which prevent damage to the door, for example when blown open by a strong gust of wind. Of course the CES Windows multi point locking system is standard across the range.
