By the late 1980's Triton Showers had achieved a milestone by having in excess of 2 million shower products in UK homes, a figure which continues to grow year on year. Electric Showers draw on a mains cold water supply and heat the water on demand. Instantaneous and stored water heaters heat water where only a cold mains water supply is available (such as in a utility room or commercial environment). The EU energy label gives information about the energy efficiency of a product. The label rates products from dark green (most efficient) to red (least efficient). The label also shows total energy consumption (kWh per year) and provides other information relevant to the product. In the case of our electric showers, the noise level is displayed in decibels (dB). The annual energy consumption for each product is calculated using specific EU-defined criteria. From 26 September 2015 every electric shower we sell comes with an energy label and is also displayed on every product page on our website.
