Based in Capel, near Dorking, Surrey since 1926, our removals and storage company have been helping our customers to have successful, and we have even been told, enjoyable moves! Ede Bros has been in business since 1926, yet we still operate from our original Capel site. Things have come a long way since the business began with brothers Bob and Ted Ede, here is little bit of our history. Back in the 1920s household removals were not as commonplace as they are today and brothers Bob and Ted Ede had the foresight to purchase an area of woodland, part of which they developed to form their own homes and gardens. The remainder of the land provided wood products which were sold, alongside aggregate, as part of their combined haulage and removal business.

Whether you are looking to store your whole house contents or a couple of pieces of furniture we are able to help. Storage can be taken for a couple of weeks or a couple of years, we take our direction from you. Co-ordinating a sale and purchase of a home can be difficult which is why some people decide to break the purchase/sale chain and store their belongings to keep things on track. Alternatively, you may have building work about to commence so need to clear a space, or maybe you are just de-cluttering, we are able to offer storage for any size of consignment.

Our focus is to care for you and your possessions and make your move as smooth and stress free as possible. Our customers have even told us that by using our services they managed to enjoy their moving day, and some went so far as to say it was fun! Our General Manager, Lee Buckland, has been in a hands-on removals role within the removals industry for over 30 years. Lee has been with Ede Bros now for 25 years and is able to impart his huge knowledge and expertise to help with every removal scenario.
