Due to the increase in demand for furniture removal and house clearances, we now offer house clearances and unwanted furniture removal. We now have a waste carriers licence which allows us to collect and redistribute unwanted items. We do this by reusing or upcycling and reselling furniture wherever possible, recycling and last of all tipping your unwanted items. Due to the high costs involved in disposing of your unwanted items there is a minimum fee of £120(£100+vat) for any clearnce.
This online quote is a good guideline of your removal cost, although for most removal jobs we also do a site visit to inspect your furniture for any problematic items and to look at the access to your property for our removal lorry. You can book a site visit when you have a firm removal date. A written estimate will be given within one day of the site visit. Insurance - we care about your possesions and you are automatically covered by our limited liability insurance cover so we will pay you up to £40 for each item lost damaged or stolen.
Ian and his team were exceptional. Our move was a little unusual, location wise, but Ian factored this in and everything went smoothly. We used Husseys for our last 2 moves and the lads are great. The lads moved us last week and I have nothing but high praise to share about them. They were very professional, polite and provided an excellent service. Ian and his team were fantastic from quotation to delivery of our final item. I find it easier to communicate via email when I am at work and I always received prompt responses and clear information. Unfortunately I had to rearrange my removal day as our completion date changed last minute, Ian was extremely understanding and able to accommodate our new date at short notice. The team were professional, friendly and calming! They arrived at our new house in time for the midday completion and did not grumble when the sellers were delayed by about an hour! They unpacked, went to collect more belongings from another address for us and did everything so professionally. They even built a little bridge from the van to the door, placed cardboard on the floor, etc to prevent bringing mud into the house on a rainy day. I would recommend this team to anyone moving house.
Used Husseys to move a bed, heavy furniture, tables etc from Gosforth to the coast. Arrived promptly and everything was soon loaded into their van and transported to new location. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They even unloaded all items from my car. Very cheerful chaps and will definety use them again if ever needed a removal Company.
Hussys moved us into a pedestrianised street with an awkward back lane, they used two vans and heaps of men and got it all done with no problems. You could tell the men all worked together well, they were polite and smart and good banter to have around. They are a local firm, for local people and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
