GMC is a privately owned family business, founded over 20 years ago, in the early days GMC was known as ‘Gronant Minimix Concrete' and provided just small load mini mix concrete deliveries. The company quickly built a good reputation within the local construction industry for providing a quality product as well as a flexible and reliable service. In 1993 due to the increase in demand the business moved to the current premises at Kelston Farm, in Gwespyr, near Prestatyn. Which provided greater capacity and allowed the GMC Concrete fleet of vehicles to be expanded with larger deliveries of ready mix concrete throughout North Wales and surrounding areas.
In April 2011 GMC underwent its first successful audit for the BSI Quality Assurance Standard, the very nature of this quality standard ensures that quality stays at the top of the company agenda. This approach has helped GMC secure and retain important customers from within the construction and building industry throughout the Flintshire and North Wales area. This quality standard gives our loyal customers peace of mind as they know that they are dealing with a quality assured and experienced supplier of ready mix concrete.
