Windows can be manufactured according to a specified design and size to include either single or double glazing, in a number of timbers including softwood, a range of hardwoods and Oak to meet a variety of requirements, from period, traditional or more modern designs.

D.K. Joinery are experienced spray finishers of micro-porous breathable coatings for timber windows, doors, roof lanterns, conservatories and Orangeries. Spray finishing has many advantages compared to traditional methods of finishing and ensures a high-standard, uniform finish to the wood, eliminating brush marks and minimising blemishes. For exterior joinery items we use the Teknos Total Factory Applied Protection System, offering either a basic primed finish or, with almost unlimited colour choice, a full factory-finished, ready-to-install product.

It is often difficult to match existing mouldings with "off the shelf" products that are available from building merchants. Here at D.K. Joinery we can replicate your required timber moulding exactly, for example skirting, architrave, cornice, dado or picture rail profiles. In addition, we can also manufacture window and door components, such as cill sections, sash profiles, frame or door sections, all for use in replacement or repair and to your exact size / specification & choice of timber.

Conservatories and roof lantern lights are tailored to meet your individual requirements based on location and exposure to weather conditions, period / style, timber choice and budget. Both of these items provide means of natural daylight or ventilation in a property. Lantern roof lights add height to a low room and make an attractive architectural feature to enhance your property.
