Bi-Fold Doors from The Door and Window Centre can be constructed from uPVC or aluminium and are built to enhance the security in your home as well as adhering to your insurance schedule.

These doors are available in white and Rosewood finishes. Colour reproduction accuracy depends ultimately on the monitor you are using and cannot be guaranteed. The panels below will take the place of any glazing unit, and may be used to create part-glazed doors and door side panels. These wider panels are specifically intended to provide an attractive and stylish alternative to a brick base wall in porches and conservatories.

After very heavy rain you might find water laying in the bottom of your door and windows frames. This is normal and will drain away through the drainage holes in the bottom of your frame! Wash with washing up liquid and if you have stubborn marks we can supply a UPVC cleaner for a small cost. Due to the enhanced thermal properties of a double-glazed unit comprising a low-E glass, the outer pane of glass does not get warmed by heat escaping from inside the building through the glass. This results in the outer pane being kept cooler in comparison to a less thermally efficient insulating unit.

All of our windows are internally beaded for high security, which means the glass is fitted on the inside. If you buy externally beaded windows you are inviting trouble into your home. All windows supplied by the Door and Window Centre LTD have steel reinforcing as required to meet British Standards.

The Door & Window Centre Ltd can provide you with a CAD drawing of your desired conservatory giving you a vision of what you would like. The CAD drawing is available free of charge with all quotes. We use Kooline Activ Blue which contains Pilkington K glass. This is a thermally efficient glass and therefore will keep more heat in the building. Your conservatory will be kept warm even in the coldest winter weather, making it a more comfortable environment and helping to reduce your heating bills.

A window fitted with triple glazed units exceeds the current 'A+' window energy rating requirement. Triple glazing also provides enhanced security due to the extra pane of toughened glass, ensuring that your windows are less easy to break through.
