All of the waste water from your home flows through a series of pipes which run from your property, through to the sewers and onto local waste water treatment plants. However, sometimes these pipes get blocked, which can be particularly nasty when wastewater is unable to flow away. High pressure jets are inserted into manholes, water is activated and the jets get pulled slowly back through the pipe, helping to restore the pipe back to its original condition.

The hazardous waste is collected at the base and is broken down by the anaerobic bacterial environment within the tank, gradually decomposing before release. The revolutionary new CCTV camera equipment was introduced 35 years ago and has since been used extensively to assess the condition of drains and pipes across domestic and commercial properties, road and rail networks, utilities and housing developments. Blockbusters offer a number of CCTV drain survey services to identify any problems with underground pipes and sewers and can accurately diagnose any issues, cost effectively and efficiently.

Blockbusters Environmental is one of the first companies in Northern Ireland to offer CCTV drain surveys. It was first introduced 35 years ago orginally in black and white, but has now progressed to High Res Colour Digital footage. The cameras are now able to capture every single aspect and it is used extensively across Northern Ireland, Ireland and the UK to assess the condition of drains and pipes at domestic properties. Once the pipes have been cleaned by Blockbusters Environmental high pressure jetting equipment, mobile CCTV camera units are then placed into the pipes.

Blockbusters Environmental provide specialist drainage services across Northern Ireland, Ireland and the U.K. Using the latest technology, a team of highly qualified surveyors and technicians clean, unblock and repair drains and all types and sizes of underground pipes and sewers. We recognise the importance of maintaining clean and fully operational drain pipes and sewers for our commercial and industrial customers. If drains become blocked or dirty, this can impact the flow of waste water to the main sewer network, which may have a detrimental impact, causing a loss of business or damage to business properties caused by flooding.

This new Trenchless CIPP technology offers an alternative to digging or lifting soil from roads, footpaths or private patio areas. This results in less disruption for the customer and surrounding neighbours, whilst making it easier for our expert teams to detect any issues underground and repairing them within a shorter time frame. CIPP technology combines the use of heated fibreglass, UV rays and resin material to form a new pipe. Using this method, the pipes can then be cured as the old pipe is replaced from the inside with a newly installed pipe.
