Home Fires and Fuels is an independent family business providing and installing quality multi-fuel stoves and wood burning stoves, gas fires and electric fires, fireplace surrounds and accessories across the Stockport, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire areas. We are also qualified and NACS approved chimney sweeps. We provide a full service to our customers from advice to installation and ongoing maintenance. All our stoves and fires are available at well below the Recommended Retail Price and we operate a Match Price Promise so you can be sure of excellent value for money.

Home Fires and Fuels provide competitively priced Kiln dried hardwood logs, seasoned logs, coal and other fuels for wood burning and multi-fuels stoves and open fires with a regular and free delivery service to customers in the local areas of Marple, New Mills, Romiley, Disley, Offerton, Hazel Grove, Bramhall the Heatons, Poynton, Didsbury and surrounding areas. All our products are stored under cover at our centrally located depot at Chadkirk in Stockport. Our seasoned logs are locally sourced from renewable managed woodland or through local tree surgery business.

Home Fires and Fuels are agents for the extensive Gallery and Penman fireplaces including Stone, Portuguese Limestone and Perla Marble surrounds. We provide a full fitting service and work with a small friendly team of HETAS, Gas Safe and experienced fireplace installers. Home Fires and Fuels provide a fully insured chimney sweep service to residents of Stockport, Tameside, South Manchester, Marple, Glossop, High Peak and surrounding areas. David Qualter is a professional chimney sweep and a member of NACS (the National Association of Chimney Sweeps). Our chimney sweeping service is competitively priced and we provide a discount of 10% to customers who have their Chimneys swept between April - July (outside of the very busy winter period). Our 2016 price for a standard sized chimney to be swept in the Marple and Stockport areas is £50 (before any discount).

Purchasing a stove is major decision. Home Fires and Fuels aim to ensure that all of our customers are provided with comprehensive advice and options to ensure that you can make the right choice. We offer a full service, from advice on choosing the right stove to the fitting of the appliance including hearth and fire surround where required. We work with a small team of friendly local experienced professional HETAS engineers who will come out to your home and advise on the level of work required and provide options for you to consider.
